In this post, I will be guiding you on how to buy crypto with Kumo wallet.
Before that, if you are new to crypto space, it will be good that you understand what cryptocurrency is and how it works.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrencies are digital assets which are used to power a blockchain.
A blockchain on the other hand is a distributed ledger where transactions are stored.
Every transaction on a blockchain can be seen by anyone as long as it is a public blockchain.
Aside from the misconception about blockchain and cryptocurrency, some people do refer to tokens as coins but they are different.
A coin is a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain. Examples of such coin are bitcoin which runs on the bitcoin blockchain, ether which runs on the ethereum blockchain, algo which runs on the algorand blockchain, matic which runs on the polygon blockchain.
Any cryptocurrency without its own blockchain is referred to as a token.
Currently, Kumo wallet supports coins.
How to buy crypto with kumo wallet
To buy your desired cryptocurrency, log in to your Kumo wallet or download Kumo wallet from App store or Play Store
From the dashboard, click on Buy/Sell crypto.
Click on Buy crypto.
Select the cryptocurrency that you want to buy from the list.
Input the amount of cryptocurrency that you want to buy in Naira.
You can click on the switch button to input to the amount in crypto or click on MAX to buy with your available balance.
After clicking on the switch, you can enter the amount in crypto.
Click on proceed after inputting the amount of crypto that you want to buy.
Enter your transaction PIN and confirm the OTP sent to your mail to confirm your request.
Your crypto will appear in your wallet after confirming the transaction.
PS: You must have naira in your account or you can fund your account
